Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Catalogue, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Order" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order. We accept credit card payment. If you are shopping from North America or anywhere else, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to US Dollars or your own currency. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Solo, Switch and other debit cards. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, snail mail or over the Internet. PLEASE NOTE WE DO NOT ACCEPT ANY ORDERS FOR TOBACCO LEAF PRODUCTS OUTSIDE THE UK. |
Shipping And Handling
The charge for shipping and handling for orders of less than £150.00 is £4.25 but there is no charge for orders above that figure, for the UK only. For despatch to addresses outside the UK, please email cigars@cigar-connoisseur.co.uk for a quote of shipping charges. Please note we do not send tobacco leaf products utside the UK and we are prohibited from sending lighters anywhere. |
Delivery Schedule We will normally send your order within 2 business days . International orders are generally received in under 7 days. We do not send tobacco leaf products outside the UK. |
Back Orders If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait. |
Tax Charges
For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 20% VAT is payable, and is included in prices. All other countries are VAT free and a deduction to the amount charged will be made to reflect this off line. We cannot be held responsible for duties and taxes charged to the customer upon delivery. It is up to the customer when ordering to check that goods are not prohibited in their country and we will not be held responsible for any confiscations. If in doubt, please contact your local excise/customs office. |
Credit Card Security All credit card numbers are protected in our secure server. They are not held in clear text on any web site or our computer. We currently use an online credit card payment system, Actinic Payments (our Payment Service Provider) so we do not see any credit card details. We do not accept American Express. |

Privacy Policy Cigar Connoisseur do not disclose buyers' information to third parties. Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart once you have selected an item, to store delivery addresses if the address book is used and to store your details if you select the 'Remember Me' Option. |
Returns Policy
If the items you receive are faulty or you have simply changed your mind about any item ordered and you wish to return it, then in line with the Distance Selling Regulations (DSR) you can do so provided you inform us of your decision within 7 days of receipt. The item must not be used and must be 'as new' when returned to us. Once you've informed us that that you wish to return goods under the DSR, you have 28 calender days to do so, at your own expense. Once the item is received at Connoisseur Limited, we'll issue a full refund for the product to your original payment method. Goods may only be returned with permission from ourselves. Please contact us for a returns number and shipping instructions. Any item returned without consent from ourselves will not be accepted. If you do not inform us within 7 days of receipt that you have decided to return the goods which are not faulty, you will be charged a 2% re-stocking fee and postage will not be refunded. |
